STREET THEATRE

Street play is presentation of the current social issues in a dramatic way. It’s also included moral and the learnings with creative use of jingles and songs, to attract the people and spread the message for greater good.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

-Duration: 8 + 2 minutes)

-Language: English Thematic

-Songs: Any Indian Language

-No of participants: Maximum of 25..

-Teams/Productions in each deanery are expected to perform only one play as the production..

-Each deanery should have a minimum of 5 teams to compete in the prelims from which two teams will be selected for the finals. Deaneries having lesser than 5 teams in Prelims, only one team will be selected to go to finals.

-English will be the only language Street Paly can be performed.

-Jingle can be in any language (Every team has to have a minimum of 4 language in singing Jingles.

PROSCENIUM THEATRE

The stage is an expression of emotions that overflow and so is proscenium. It is a group event that tests the limits of human life through means of expression and dialogue, keeping all captivated and enthralled while the spotlight shines on you.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

-Properties: 4 plastic chairs and 1 table will be provided. All other settings need to be brought by the performing team

-Lights: Basic lighting will be provided. Teams will NOT be allowed to bring in external lights.

-Projection: Overhead projector will be provided. Teams will have to bring in their own Laptops and Pendrives/CDs.

-Duration: 20 + 5 minutes.

-No of participants: Maximum of 25 – including backstage crew. Teams are NOT allowed to change the participants for the finals.
